Ellen Reesman Klausen joined the law firm of Gambs Mucker & Bauman in 1993. Ellen is presently located at our Missouri branch. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, employment law, and products liability. Before joining Gambs Mucker & Bauman, Ellen practiced in a medium-sized law firm in Kansas City, Missouri where her primary focus was products liability for a broad range of manufacturers. Before attending law school, she was a staff assistant to U.S. Senator Tom Eagleton for three years.
Ellen is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of Missouri (1988), the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri (1988), the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana (1993), and the State of Indiana (1994). She is a member of the Indiana and Missouri State Bar Associations, and is a member of the Tippecanoe County Bar Association.
Ellen was born in Columbia, Missouri in 1959. She received her B.S.W., magna cum laude, in 1981 and her M.S.W., summa cum laude, in 1982, from the University of Missouri at Columbia. Ellen received her J.D. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1988. While at law school, Ellen was a member of Delta Theta Phi, and was the Cases and Statutes Editor (1987-1988) for the URBAN LAWYER, an American Bar Association Publication.
In her free time Ellen enjoys spending time with family, antiquing, and volunteering at church and with her children’s school activities.
