Taylor Spalding Flanery joined our Firm in 2004. She concentrates her practice in civil litigation, including personal injury, consumer, commercial, products liability, employment and insurance litigation. Taylor is licensed in Indiana and Kentucky, and is admitted to practice in all the state courts of Indiana and Kentucky, the Second, Sixth and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the federal district courts in the Northern District of Indiana, Southern District of Indiana, Western District of Kentucky and Eastern District of Kentucky. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, and Kentucky Bar Association. Taylor was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended Centre College in Danville, Kenucky, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science, cum laude in 1999, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She obtained her juris doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law, in Lexington, Kentucky, graduating first in her class, Order of the Coif, in 2002. While attending the University of Kentucky she was Editor-in-Chief of the Kentucky Law Journal, in 2001-2002. Before joining Gambs Mucker & Bauman, Taylor practiced law in a large firm in Louisville, Kentucky, where her primary focus was commercial litigation. In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family, reading novels, and working on arts and crafts, specifically cross-stitch and scrapbooking.
